Project Scenario: It is 1775 and England is taxing the colonies on goods to pay for the French and Indian War. You are living in Colonial New England and times are difficult. You need to do something to free the colonies from the greedy King of England. After all you do not even have a say in government.
Task 1: You work for the newspaper and you need to write an article. Your article can be about an event that occurred, a political figure, or an editorial persuading someone to take a side.
Task 2: You have to create a political cartoon that make fun of the political issues of this time.
Task 3: It is now your great chance to experience writing an Expository, Persuasive, or Narrative Essay on the revolution. You will be able to select one important event, person, or political position about which to write this essay. These essays will eventually be typed on Microsoft Word.
